How items bought on TopBid.Live reach the buyer, and who is responsible for what. This page summarises Sections 7 and 8 of the Terms; if the two ever disagree, the Terms govern.

Who ships

The seller ships, not TopBid. TopBid is the marketplace and the payments agent: we run the auction, collect the winning bidder's payment, and hold it. The streamer who auctioned the item is the one who packs and sends it.

Physical items

• Sellers must ship promptly and with tracking, to the address the winning bidder provides at checkout.
• Where a seller ships to, and what they charge for postage, is stated by that seller on the auction. Read it before you bid.
• Delivery times depend on the carrier and the destination. TopBid does not control carrier speed and does not guarantee a delivery date.

Digital files

Digital items — beat packs, presets, project stems and similar — are sent once, by the seller, to the email address the winning bidder used. There is nothing to ship and no postage.

Why the money waits

The winning bidder's payment is held by TopBid and is not paid out to the seller when the auction ends. It is released only after delivery is confirmed:

• Shipped items: when carrier tracking shows delivery, plus the claim window.
• Digital files: when the buyer confirms receipt, or 24 hours after the auction closes, whichever comes first.

That hold is the buyer protection. It is why a stranger can bid confidently on a live stream, and why a seller who does not deliver does not get paid.

See Refunds & Buyer Protection. Claims for non-delivery must be filed within 24 hours of recorded delivery, or within 14 days of the auction if tracking never shows delivery.
